Wrong question; in general, you would Google "<device-details> linux" 
to find if a device is supported in Linux. Yes, you will find lots of 
Ubuntu garbage doing that, but a good trick is to look for respected 
domain names (like kernel.org for example.)

Wireless.kernel.org is the best resource for wireless devices. Those 
have been, for me, the most common hardware issues. Reading web 
forums can be misleading; you'll find a lot of old and downright 
wrong advice. (Even relatively recent postings often perpetuate 
ancient myths.)

When you're stuck, this is as good a place to ask as you will find.
