So you are trying to assign an ipv6 address to the network interface of
your machine, correct? I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to
accomplish.
Me, I just disable it and stay with the reserved private address space 
across
my networks. My ISP doesn't even assign ipv6 addresses yet.
