Dear Slack users, I am sorry to go back to this; I actually asked this question at one point but could not seem to find it. What I want to ask about is navigating the terminal line with Ctrl-<leftarrow> and -<rightarrow>. I have found a suggestion to put: "\eOd": backward-word "\eOc": forward-word in .inputrc. Unfortunately, that did not actually DO anything. Can anyone suggest to me what I am missing? I see there is an inputrc in /etc/inputrc which suggests the same, I am just not actually GETTING anything... even when I copy it to ~/.inputrc . Any thoughts? All the best, Morten
