Nick, I am seeing this on 64 bit Slack 13.37, 32 bit 13.37, and (my wife and coworkers report) on various versions of Windows. Meanwhile Opera seems to work fine. To my consternation I am getting lots of missing libraries when I try to run Chromium on my development box running 64 bit 13.37 (both alien bob's slackbuild - and the slacky.eu package). My solution: downgrade to version 38.0. Works just fine.
