Nice try. Actually elilo dropped by HP earlier than 2014, and it was written as kind of "technology demo", it has basic functions no bells and whistles. There are more advanced boot loaders like (overloaded) grub-2 OS and syslinux. Looks like the most well working is grub-2 OS but it has too many functions for just bootloader almost like emacs for text editing. -- WBR eleksir On Fri, 19 May 2017, Thomas Altfather Good via slackware wrote: > On Fri, May 19, 2017 at 12:54 PM, Didier Spaier via slackware < > [email protected]> wrote: > >> >> >> Oh, and elilo has been orphaned since 2014, so feel free to adopt it and >> enhance it: >> https://sourceforge.net/projects/elilo/ >> >> > Actually, it is a project worth continuing but someone like Alien Bob comes > to mind as the best maintainer.
