Nice try.
Actually elilo dropped by HP earlier than 2014, and it was written as kind 
of "technology demo", it has basic functions no bells and whistles.

There are more advanced boot loaders like (overloaded) grub-2 OS and 
syslinux. Looks like the most well working is grub-2 OS but it has too 
many functions for just bootloader almost like emacs for text editing.
