I found libxslt-1.1.29-x86_64-2.txz in slackware64-current and 
downloaded it.  upgradepkg reported that it removed the -1 version and 
installed this one.

Went back to sbopkg to try installing live555 again.  Nope, failed at 
the same place with the same error message.

/usr/include/libxslt/xsltlocale.h now has just
#include <locale.h>
whereas the previous version also had
#include <xlocale.h>

So the file was changed but it didn't make a difference in this case.
