Compiling opal 14.0

Hi All, 

 anyone had any luck on 14.0 54bit building opal, slackbuilds fail even
with what *.info files say are deps, they all fail the same with

Any pointers greatly appreciated. 

(yes I know 14.0 is long in the tooth, hell, even 14.2 is ancient now
days - but we have proprietary software that wont build on later distros
(incl other flavors of linux I tried) so my desktop is the bunny who
stays put.
