Building 4.19.84 kernel

All,

My Ryzen7 desktop running 14.2/x86_64 needs a kernel > 4.18.x. I had a
4.19.x installed but carelessly overrode it with the 4.4.x series. Now I
want to upgrade to the 4.19.84 kernel using files in
slackware64-current/source/k/. I've copied all files (but the 32-bit
configs) to /opt/slackbuilds/slackware-4.19.84/.

Trying to follow the steps in the quite old web page
<https://docs.slackware.com/slackbook:linux_kernel> but it looks quite out
of date. Is there a more up-to-date instruction set? It's been many years
since I built a kernel and I want to do this one quickly and correctly the
first time.

Given what I've downloaded I'd like the step-by-step process to build the
kernel and upgrade the 4.4.192 that's installed. Pointers to applicable docs
needed.
