They are only searched in $ALICE_HOME/templates not in 
/usr/lib/alice/samples/templates, so please check if they also exists in your 
ALICE_HOME

If a new version of alice is released you normaly should also update you 
$ALICE_HOME/templates by copying all files from 
/usr/lib/alice/samples/templates to your working copy
