boot-P4-Suse7.3

Hi,

I have a priblem with a new Pentium4 and SuSE7.3.
When boot i have to put in the prompt the next:

    boot: linux diableapic

with this i can start the installation SuSE7.3 with ALICE,
but later when the system are in the kernel step , the installing get
wrong, the machine are locked.

This is the question:
Is the 'disableapic' option the correct solution. If ths is yes, now how
i can put
in the alice tag's this parameter?
