Hi all! I am trying to install a Laptop using an ALICE-Server. I use SuSE 7.3 and ALICE 0.94 and want to install from the Server via Bootdisk and NFS. The Laptop is an IBM ThinkPad 2621 with a 3com LAN-Card (Model 3CCFE574BT). I always get an error message like "An error occurred during the network configuration" when Alice tries to install the modules. I included the modules i82365 and 3c574_cs in the <SYS_INSMOD_MODULES> section and also tried it with the <SYS_MODULES_AUTOPROBE> option set to "yes". I can start a manual installation by installing the mentioned modules. This happens automatically when choosing the menu entry "Load PCMCIA modules". I'm a little bit confused that afterwards "Show loades modules" says "Currently there are no modules loaded!", but anyhow the network configuration then works. I guess that the ALICE-Problem has something to do with the fact, that Linuxrc handles PCMCIA modules somehow different to other modules. I also can't load the needed modules using "Load modules automatically" in the Linuxrc-menu. Does anyone have an idea, how to solve this problem?
