Hi there,

I posted some hints on the above mentioned the a few weeks ago, here now
the actual solution, HTH.

* If possible, the diagnosis partition should be installed in advance
through the Server Smart Start CD.

* The following within *.sys.tcf works:
<SYS_PART_raid1>
path=/dev/ida/c0d0
NONE    36      num=3    id=12
/boot   16      num=1    id=83
SWAP    1000    num=2    id=82
/       0       num=4    id=83   fsys=reiser
</SYS_PART_raid1>
Important: the diag partition has to be within the first line of the
partitions (NONE ...), the Partititon ID of the Diagnosis Partititon has
to be 3!

* An existing diagnosis partition should now be kept, otherwise it can
be restored, i.e. with an existing image:
dd if=cpq_diag of=/dev/ida/c0d0p3

* Now you need the following minimal line in /etc/lilo.conf
("F10" doesn't work!):
other = /dev/ida/c0d0p3
   label = compaq

Regards, Jens
