opensuse 13.2 - yast clone_system produces a virtually empty autoinst.xml

This is all I get:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE profile>
<profile xmlns="http://www.suse.com/1.0/yast2ns"
xmlns:config="http://www.suse.com/1.0/configns">
  <deploy_image>
    <image_installation config:type="boolean">false</image_installation>
  </deploy_image>
</profile>


I'm not sure if this is a yast or an autoyast problem.  (or an operator
problem for that matter).
