And the main installation repository is located on the same USB?

If yes, then you can use the relurl:// scheme which points to an URL=20
relative to the main installation repository. It does not matter
whether it is USB, disk, FTP, HTTP,....

Try this:
                <media_url>relurl://repo-usb</media_url>
