Hello, Has anyone tried to compile OpenLDAP 2.1.x on SuSE7.1AXP? I have a AS1000A 5/333 with one processor and SuSE 7.1AXP. I compiled my own Cyrus SASL (2.1.12) and OpenSSL (0.9.6g). I have tried to compile OpenLDAP 2.1.6, 2.1.8, 2.1.9 and 2.1.12 with both gcc2.96 and the Compaq CCC. The configure and compile go along fine (except that ccc complains about setting signed char equal to an unsigned char many times). When I try the "make test", the test hangs on the ldapsearch phase. I have run the problem to the ldapsearch program, but can not find where the problem is. Any suggestions? (I need a 2.1.x version of OpenLDAP for some of the features that were added, and Cyrus-SASL 2 support.) Thanks, Mike.
