Hi, I have a Digital PWS 433au, SRM version: Console V7.2-1 Mar 6 2000 14:47:02 I created the boot CD from the boot.iso of 8.1 AXP. While trying to boot from SRM console (boot dkc300 -fl 0 or -fl i) I got the following messages: unknown partition type then failed to send Read to dkc300.3.0.2004.0 iso_read_super: bread failed, dev iso_blknum 18 ufs_mount: superblock read failed (retval = -9223372036854775808) unknown filesystem while trying to switch another p 1 - 8 I got by p2, p4, p5, p6, p7, p8 unzip: unknown compression method by p1 and p3 the same messages as described before: failed to send Read... etc etc etc... I had to have made an error somewhere but I don't know where. Could you give me an advice please? VV PS: I tried to burn the CD on the given PWS also using cdrtools-2.0.1a13 as follows: cdrecord -v speed=2 dev=0,3,0 boot.iso The device is a Matshita CW-7503 SCSI CD Writer booting SuSE 7.1 AXP CDROM without any problem.
