Hello all.
I am trying to get the 8.1 to install om a AllphaStation 255/233 with 64 megs
of ram
I boots fine from the ISO with the command
boot dka6 -fl 0 (dka6 being my cd)
It gives all kinds of nice messages, and chugs along to where it states:
Freeing initrd memory: 5328k freed
VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem)
Moving into tempfs...

where it stays for a LONG time and finaly barfs with:
__alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed (gfp=0x1d2/0)
VM: killing process linuxrc(11)
VFS: Insert root floppy and press ENTER

What goes??
What did i do wrong??

When the aboot prompt apperas and i do "l" (list preconfigured kernels)
i get a list of three.
0:/boot/vmlinuz rw root=/dev/fd0 initrd=/boot/initrd
1:/boot/vmlinuz-smp rw root=/dev/fd0 initrd=/boot/initrd-smp
#2:/boot/vmlinuz-jensen rw boot=/dev/fdo initrd=/boot/initrd-jensen

The root device seems wrong to me. It points to the /dev/fd0 and as far as i
can see i dont have one on the system...
Not fd0 anyhow.. A dva0 exists tho.
dka0.0.0.6.0 DKA0	Quantum fireball...
dka600.6.0.6.0	DKA600	Plextor CD-ROM
dva0.0.0.0.1 DVA0
ewa0.0.0.14.0 EWA0	00-00....
pka0.7.0.6.0 PKA0 SCSI bus ID 7

How do i get the thing up and running?
