Boot failiure.

I have been trying to install the 8.1 for the longest time now.. 
It seems to be running ok. IF i boot it from the install CD and choose "Boot 
installed system"
If i do

What do i do wrong?

1. I booted from the BootCD, specified network install and loaded all modules 
	i wanted.
2. I got the installer up, and switched to another console.
	did fdisk /dev/sda
3. edited the BSD disklabel choose unused
4. Wrote three parttitions a,b and c	then let fdisk write the table and 
	rebooted

Did step 1 and two again, made a reisefs on /dev/sda3 and a ext2 on /dev/sda1 
and the /dev/sda2 became swap

Rebooted

Started the installer and pointed the 
/dev/sda1 as /boot
/dev/sda2 as swap
/dev/sda3 as /
It complained about not having the right ID and set it top 0x83 (linux native)

The install went ok, (even remembered to disable ssh as it is broken)

But i cant boot the stuff :(
If i do it via the BootCD it works fine tho..

What do i do wrong???
