mmh, what's a recommended patitioning scheme ?

actually the system has two 4.3GB disks and i would like to have "/boot"  
"/"  "swap"
let's say "/boot" and "/" should be on /dev/sda and "swap" should be on
/dev/sdb.

should i leave some space free in front of the disk ? let's say start with 5
?

any suggestion would be appreciated.
