Re: Install 8.1 on alpha XL (ARC console)

I've tried it, and while I managed to get MILO up I havn't managed to get the 
boot command (in milo) right.

I've tried

OSLOADOPTIONS=boot scd0:/boot/vmlinuz 

which boots the kernel but it then complains about having no root. I've tried

OSLOADOPTIONS=boot scd0:/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/sr0

but then the kernel complains about /dev/sr0 not being a usable root.

I still don't know how to boot the CD from ARC.
