This table is incorrect.  The third (c) partition should be the "whole disk"
partition.  It has to span the whole disk and should not be used to place a
filesystem on it at all.

The fact that something works does not necessarily mean that everything is
correct.

You should place the kernel on a non-reiserfs /boot partition.  If this was
the case, the id of the reiserfs partition does no longer matter because Li=
nux
does not care about the id.
