Hmm.. Spotted a mistype..
its not root=/dev/sdb2 its sda2

I tried 
boot dka0 -fi 1/vmlinuz -fl initrd=initrd root=/dev/sda2 " 

And it boots... !!!!! 

Now to see if i can find/set the corresponding SRM variables...
