the usb support works currently for handytech, alva, and papenmeier

not really build on brltty - one of the first svl version was a fork of 
brltty - yes
but since the last 10 years - I added many features that brlty does not have

specially for ncurses based applications and customization like
keymaps, profiles speech filters etc.

if you have any feature request - just let us know
and we can discuss it here
