Which browser to use for webinterface ?

Hi there,

which browser do I have to use to work with the webinterface ? Netscap 4.x 
does not open java-applets and netscape 6.x/7.x asks me anytime I click on
a bottun to login. Konqueror does not show the menu-bar and opera craches.
Do I have to start Windows to work with it ?
