hi,
after changing the language you have to reinstall your domino !
just rename notesdata to notesdata.old and reinstall the domino after the
installation rename notesdata to notesdata.new and notesdata.old to
notesdata ... then copy all *.ntf from notesdata.new to notesdata and
start your domino ...
... try it again ...

nope...
just checked it, the language-setting WAS de_DE@euro (in
/etc/rc.config.d/lang.rc.config), but adjusting it to de_DE made no
difference to Domino (I even restarted the machine completely). Still the
adminp crashes upon beginning to lookup the target Server (to verify
access, that is).
There was a discussion on notes.net about this behaviour, they did mention
somthing with "glibc" and "glibc-common" that had to be re/installed, but
they were referring to redhat ...
any more ideas?

... never heard bevore ... but check the system-language in /etc/rc.config
( rc_lang ) should set to "de_DE" ... for germany ...
... earlier in the last messages I noticed that the adminp have had probs
when using the wrong language ... even so the http-task was crashing if
the domino has been installed and rc_lang was still set to "de_DE@euro" or
something like that ...
check it and if necessary change it :-)

Thema: [suse-domino] adminp crashes
Hi,
I am using two suse-Linux 7.3 server, running Domino 5.0.6 (in the same
Domino-Domain)
When I try to move a Mailfile from oneserver to the other with the adminp
process, the following happens:
1. Server responds "...has been submitted to the Administration requests
database" (and the request really appears there)
2. when adminp runs and encounters the request, a message "Lookup on
server xxxxx" (the target server) appears in the log/console, all adminp
processes disappear from the machine (all other domino-related proc esses
remain) and Domino is rendered useless. no communication with any process
on any designated port possible. Have to restart Domino (and deactivate
auto-lauch of adminp). the two servers concerned do replicate
successfully...
Any hints of what is going on?
