Yes, there are. 

1. domrun Start-/Stop environment is integrated.
2. Kernel Parameter and limits are tuned (file-max, shmmax, shmni, ...)
3. Optional it is possible to start domino with a default stacksize of
256k instead of 1M to allow more threads. This was suggested by IRIS
corp. and is fully supported from Lotus. Technically, a different
libpthread.so is preloaded before starting domino.
