hi list,

i have a problem with domino version i had this problem, is from 5.0.9,
5.0.9a, 5.0.10 and 5.011 (upgraded) i installed it on suse 8.0
did first set a LANG=de_DE (made it persistent in /etc/sysconfig/language.

first i had installed compat.rpm the it happened sometimes: insufficent
memory ... i got an information:

########

Fatal Error signal = 0x0000000B PID/TID 1055/11276 rigth now it is event
task ...

JFS FS is installed, kernel 2.4.18, java 1.3.1

I also found that if the server is stopped and I run fixup against to * it
also causes

Fatal Error signal = 0x0000000B PID/TID 865/1024
One more interesting thing from 1.256 GB RAM it only 220 KB was free after
the crash !!!

########

have to tell you that I did reinstall SuSE 8.0 choosing "minimal" install
and manually adding the required packages(including JRE 1.1.8), and creating
the symlink /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 to the file
libstdc++-3-libc6.2-2-2.10.0.so.(manually install or die !) If you choose
other menupoints the "compat" package will be also installed and this
package contains the real :libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 lib dated march 23 19:58
sized :1225930 take care !!!

########

so i did and the insufficent memory problem was gone. btw: i have xfs
running with kernel 2.4.18 on a p3-600 with 1gb of ram.

my second problem is:
when i start the webserver i get:

Fatal Error signal = 0x0000000B PID/TID = 5245/1024
Freezing all server threads ...
- - Child Terminated from signal 9

Freezing all server threads ...

and the domino-server is gone. the only thing after that is to reboot
the machine, cause even if i start the server up, it freezez again with
the same error very early after the startup.

any ideas?
