Hi,

you should not do that.
When replacing the design of a db with any D6 Template, you change not only
it's internal functions but it's structure as well.
Placing a D6 database on a R5.x Server is extremely dangerous, especially
if it is your mailfile. Several sched processes like adminp, calconn etc
access these files frequently and will in best case produce an error that
they can no longer access it, but quite often corrupt the file itself or
halt the server.
R5 cannot handle ODS43.

Second problem would be the Designer.
If you once open a db with D6 Designer and change something, by saving the
Designer will add D6 specific note items to the db that could result in
severe problems or inaccessability for R5 Clients.

So beware...
