force File Rights for Logfiles?

Hello there!

i have following problem:
my Domino(6) Server is running as a user (notes) and works fine - so far.
I set it up to write the website access logfiles into /var/log/domino so a
statistic
server can read them.
but the domino server alway sets the right to 600 (rw-  ---  ---)

Any ideas, how to change this?
