you can't use sendmail as domino router task replacement.

you will have to either relay some mails from domino to sendmail to place 
them in local users maildrops or do the same thing the other way round. 
the domino router is more than a common mta thus not that easy to replace 
by something else.

the only thing that you can replace within domino is the http task, by 
using MS IIS (but that has nothing to do with smtp and is nothing i would 
ever do ;)
