Hi there! I know, that this is not the correct list, but maybe anyone has experiences with domino on debian here. I tried to run domino 602CF1 on a debian 3.0 unstable - system. The system has a new kernel, (Linux matrix 2.4.22-1-686-smp #5 SMP Sat Oct 4 14:35:05 EST 2003 i686 GNU/Linux) but without success! That´s what I did: I installed the server (./INSTALL) Followed the instructions and configured the domino - server as usual. But when I try to start the server, i get a segmentation fault (see below), caused by java. So I decided to use my own java. I installed j2sdk1.4.2 by sun and changed the PATH - Variable for my user domino. which java said, that I would now use the version by sun. But when I tried to start the server I get the same output as before. /usr/local/lotus/bin/server ./java -ss512k -Xoss5M -cp jhall.jar:cfgdomserver.jar:Notes.jar lotus.domino.setup.WizardManagerDomino -data /home/domino /usr/local/lotus/notes/latest/linux/serversetup: line 124: 13270 Segmentation fault java -ss512k -Xoss5M -cp "jhall.jar:cfgdomserver.jar:Notes.jar" lotus.d omino.setup.WizardManagerDomino $datapath $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6 $7 $8 $9 Sometime ago, I installed domino 5.0.11 on a debian stable without any problems at all... Anybody some ideas?
