Trend Micro ScanMail on Domino 5.012 on SuSE Linux 8.0

Hello everybody,

we have been using Trend Micro's Scan Mail for quite some time now on NT 
Machines and everything worked fine.
Then we set up a new Domino-SMTP-Server running on SuSE 8.0.

ScanMail has been installed and blocks infected mails properly.
Thus far everything's hunky dory.
BUT:
Attachment blocking by native filetype does not work at all although 
properly configured. This is quite an issue with my company and 
effectively prohibits me from using the new Linux machine in production.

We haven't licensed the e-manager-functionality of TrendMicro Scan Mail 
due to cost reasons. This didn't concern the attachment blocking function 
on NT-running machines at all. Could it be a problem on linux though ?
We have a support call running at TrendMicro but they have not managed to 
do anything in the past three months.

Any help / experiences are very much appreciated.
