Indeed, transactional logging is definitely a Good Thing(TM).

With "archved" logging style, you can reduce full media backups of
database files (e.g. only once a week) and do a frequent backup the
inactive transaction log files instead. Make sure *not* to try this
when using "circular" logging style!
