I had to manually copy a couple of DLL's to get this to work. If you are
struggling let me know - I will make a list - I have them here in a
seperate folder.

Andreas,

I used Wine version 20040505-1 that is all (for the Notes client install).

I cant find the original link I had at IBM which explains the Notes 6.5
install steps. It works (except for printing - here I had issues).

Basic Steps:
- Install Wine on Linux and make sure it is working.
- You install the client on Windows NT/XP/2000 first.
- Login to that installation (sort out login etc.)
- Copy the entire installation to the same folder on your Linux Wine
windows installation (Mine is in /root/.wine/drive_c/Program Files)
- Copy over two dll's to the Wine c:\windows\system folder (mfc42.dll and
msvcp60.dll).
- Run wine "c:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\nlnotes.exe"
