Andreas,
sorry this is late - I was off sick for a day.
- To recap - the Notes client is first installed under Windows and then the
whole Lotus folder (containing the new Notes 6.5 client installation) is
transferred to the virtual C drive on the SuSE Linux box (SuSE 8 Standard
Server in my case).
- Then you need to copy the following DLL's from the Windows directory of
the Windows PC to the C:\Windows\System directory of the Linux Wine virtual
C drive.
- Note my Wine implementation is set to emulate Windows XP.
-DLL List to transfer from the PC to the Linux server:
- mfc42.dll
- msvcp60.dll
- nimui.dll
- mfc40u.dll
- mfc42u.dll
- nimuiu.dll
- oleaut32.dll
- msiexec.exe (dont think this is needed - I think this was part of my
Internet Explorer install attempts)
That should do it. My Wine version is the default version that came with
SuSE 8 Standard Server. I have found that most of the standard rpm's that
came with the server work fine for their various purposes.
Hope this helps, please respond if it does.
