No, but a idea ..

.. look at your system, if you have more than one gcc running .. with a 
little luck (with debian, there are two installed and linked from gcc -> 
gcc3.0 or anywhere else) you can change the link to a older gcc version 
and try again ... the older gcc might use a older libc, also ...
