Forgive me for bringing up a really old post but I need help! I have domino up and running on my box fine, however I have not had any luck getting it to start at startup.I found this posting below but am new enough to linux that I am having trouble. I have done this: A script that calls /opt/lotus/bin/server -s (I am VERY sorry, but how would this script look? I have tried creating it with just ./opt/lotus/bin/server -s in a file with name domino.init) The script resides in /etc/init.d/ and we have a symbolic in /etc/init.d/rc3.d (I have done this, and I believe it is correct) I can issue the command /etc/init.d/domino.init logged in as notes and it will start the Domino Server fine. I have verified all the file permissions etc but it will not start on boot. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, and don't know where to look to see if there are any logs that say what the error is on boot. Thanks in Advance, Tim Message-ID: <OF355B1C3C.4C81EE94-ON85256CF4.00502ED7-85256CF4.00507A5C@kalsec> From: [email protected] Date: Tue, 25 Mar 2003 09:39:02 -0500 Subject: Re: [suse-domino] Antwort: [suse-domino] Antwort: [suse-domino] Starting Domino 601 as Service I was actually told by IBM, not to use the 'domino' script. That's interesting that their redbooks tell you to. Hmm.
