That's a very old version.  I would be looking to install 5.0.12 or

Which rpm? I didn't think Domino came as an rpm... If you mean the
SuSE start script then you have an old version of that too.  /etc/rc.config
disappeared a long time ago. You need to get a new version - see below

Not sure about this part, it could be permissions if the SuSE
startscript hasn't installed properly.  Have a look at this page:
http://www.suse.co.uk/uk/business/products/server/sles8/domino.html
It's for one of the business products but you might be able to use it
on 9.1.  Of course one of us should be trying to sell you SLES :-)
