Hi List!

I have a domino 6.5.3 here on a debian linux. I know, this is the wrong
distribution, but I managed to get any domino server with since 5.0.9 to
work with that distro and as this is my favourite distribution I would
like to use my domino on this distribution.
After some troubles concerning the language of my user, the server works
pretty well. It was my fault, as I did not search at the right places. But
this list gave me the needed hints, where to look at. I can use the
databases, use the webserver and so on. All without any problems.
I have installed jsse 1.0.3_2. I can load and use the classes in my
environment. But as soon as I try to initialize SSLContext by calling
SSLContext.init, my http - task just hangs and does not answer to any
requests anymore. I even have to kill the http - task, as it can not be
terminated by using /obt/lotus/bin/server -q.

Has anybody experienced this behaviour on a domino 6.5.3 - box? Or does
anyone even know any workaround, or anything in configuration I could try
out? The problem is, that neither java nor domino deliver any error -
messages. The http - task just stops doing his work and the whole domino
subsystem has to be killed!

It seems to me that a property, which should tell the domino to use the
ssl - addon as url - handler is not set correctly.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Bye,
Andy
