Yes

We only had server.id and cert.id in "data".

After finishing installation, we also replaced "notes.ini", just to be sure. The new one was not so different from the original, since we used the same installation procedure (services, names, etc).

  You must also replace the server.id and user.id's against your old id's. Hope You have a backup. ;)

  Hi

  We are trying to restore a server that was using Domino 6.0

  As we understand, this is quite easy, since what has to be done is simply:
  1- restore OS
  2- Install Domino 6.0 normally (exactly as the first time) and running it
  once just to finish initial configurations.
  3- Replace the "DATA" folder with a proper backup.

  This will keep databases, but usernames, passwords, configurations and
  everything else.. right?

  Is there something missing here? Something else to take into account?
