Hello all,

thank you for the replies.

Updating to 6.53 FP1 didn't do the trick.
The problem was caused by somebody using an internet mail address in an 
resource reservation.
I had to remove the router task from the notes.ini, restart the server and 
remove the offending mail
from mail.box and everything runs fine (so far)!
It is not necessary to (re)move  the mail.box.
