I find this incredibly hard to believe.  It's safe to say they won't 
"officially" support it.
If you're actively dealing with several IBM engineers that won't support 
that set up I would be interested in knowing.

It's to IBM's advantage to at least look at the code that novell has put 
together for domino.  Heck, I had a simple startup script
written for domino to start up and drump all of its output to a log 
file....

At first, IBM didn't like it, then they requested the actual script.  No 
big deal.
"...will not support it" is really a bold statement.
"....will not officially support it" is much closer.  :-)

It does work fine ... but IBM will not support it. 
And one of the reasons is that if you do have issues/crashes Domino 6.5.x 
will not produce a complete NSD running on SLES9. 
But it will definitely run.
