I'm sorry, I must not have been clear on what I was looking for....

I'm looking for benchmarks in comparison to domino running on linux.
And I haven't bought into the whole "sata" thing yet.  :-)

I want to know if it makes any sense to use stripping and/or mirroring and 
if so, which configuration to use.

Has anyone gone through the trouble of actually benchmarking different 
RAID setups with Domino?
