thankx for your answer. Actually, I tried two ways:

1) I use the VMWare server console.
2) I use PuTTY.
Both ways do not involve an x-session - or so I thought.

I don't use the graphical frontend for the Domino server setup because =

never got it to work in the combination SLES9 and Domino 6.5.5 due to j=
ava
issues. That's why I prefer the remote server setup which has until now=

never failed me.
