wrong rpms installed on P4 with EMT64 (x86_64) with suse linux pro 9.2 x86_64

moin,

we are running a Pentium4 EMT64 machine under suse linux pro 9.2 x86_64
and i just noticed, that for some rpms, fou4s 0.12.5 installed the
i586 rpms, not the x86_64 rpms. but not for all, just for a few.

for example, fou4 installed

ftp.gwdg.de/x86_64/update/9.2/rpm/i586/zip-2.3-734.2.i586.patch.rpm
when it should have installed
ftp.gwdg.de/x86_64/update/9.2/rpm/x86_64/zip-2.3-734.2.x86_64.patch.rpm

the lines with correct and wrong lines are mixed and i dont really see
a pattern, when which type of rpm is installed.

was that an error in the patches supplied by suse or is this a bug
in fou4s?

anybody else seeing this?

i will do some more debugging myself, but i thought i'd mail a first
note that this happened...
