fou4s-0.12.6-1 works well on my SUSE 9.3. There is a slight annoyance when adding the optional KDE packages by activating the entry from the default fou4s.conf. I had a similar problem with 9.2 as well. SUSE has changed the version/subversion numbering to numeric values behind a "-". Now fou4s keeps offering me packages that older and have a smaller version number according to the new numbering. Here an example: kdelibs3 3.4.0-20.3 (3.4.0-23 ) [ok] security 15329kb qt3 3.3.4-11.3 (3.3.4-13 ) [ok] recommended 2979kb Both of these packages will not be installed due to the timestamp checking (installed version newer than update version). That is okay, but they come along with "ERROR: Update failed" messages and the message "Warning: 2 updates failed. Please fix the problems and try again" Kevin -- _ | Kevin Ivory | Tel: +49-551-3700000 |_ |\ | | Service Network GmbH | Fax: +49-551-3700009 ._|ER | \|ET | Bahnhofsallee 1b | mailto:[email protected] Service Network | 37081 Goettingen | http://www.SerNet.de/ --
