I am using the latest fou4s stable 0.12.6-1 on SUSE 9.3 (i686) with the
KDE and packman lines activated in fou4s.conf. I seem to be getting
more and more fou4s errors - and they are not counted correctly either.

fou4s -ue shows me the following six packages:
freeciv 2.0.1-1.pm.1 (2.0.0-12 ) [ok] generated 7026kb
kdelibs3 3.4.0-20.5 (3.4.0-23 ) [dl] security 15336kb
libcddb 1.0.2-0.pm.0 (0.9.6-8 ) [dl] generated 96kb
libieee1284 0.2.10-0.pm.1 (0.2.9-3 ) [ok] generated 75kb
qt3 3.3.4-11.3 (3.3.4-13 ) [ok] recommended 2979kb
speex 1.1.8-0.pm.0 (1.0.4-4 ) [dl] generated 187kb

Using fou4s -ig, all updates fail: two because of version numbers (okay,
we know that) and fou4s because of bad architecture. Interestingly, only
two errors are counted:

...
speex 1.1.8-0.pm.0 (1.0.4-4 ) [dl] generated 187kb
Getting ftp.gwdg.de:x86_64/speex-1.1.8-0.pm.0.x86_64.rpm
Bad arch for speex: x86_64, skipping
Warning: 2 updates failed. Please fix the problems and try again

By the way, the man page says fou4s only supports up to 9.1:

KEY FEATURES
...
       *   Supports SuSE 7.1 to 9.1,
