there is no 
ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/update/8.0/
 patches/kernel-* or similar, only 
 patches/kernel-source-*  (strange...)

so neither fou4s nor yast online update will pick up this kernel.
if there is no patch description, there is no update package...

well, you *could* use fou4s with rsync.
but I won't recommend this for kernel updates ;)

If the patch description has no hint to have this interactive,
it won't be interactive.

btw, on _my_ 8.1, kernel updates require --interactive...

anyways, there is always the "remark only" setting in fou4s.
