At the moment I have only production machines with Apache 1.3.* at hand. No 
time or chance to get a 2.0 up in the next time.

ah, thanks, didn't have the need to use tcpdump yet in all those years :-)

I sure will. Just last week or so I visited a server with Apache 2.0 and 
thought by myself "remember it in case you need one for testing" - I can't 
remember it :-( Once I find a new one I'll test against it and then possibly 
ask in the wwwservers newsgroup.
