We use fou4s on vserver systems: there is the master system where fou4s works just fine. The problem arises with base system for the virtual servers: It is a read-only /map-partition. A fou4s run will only work when the partition is remounted read-write. We would like to use an automatic nightly check on the read-only mounted partition. I can think of two possible ways of getting this done: 1. use the writeable /-area while only checking the RPM database of the readonly /map environment. 2. chroot /map completely and use something like chroot /map fou4s --auto --nodownload --nocache --nocache I cannot get either of these working. Any recommendations?
